My husband says that it is a waste of time for me to
try to make the City of Tempe a better place to live
by reporting homes that have zoning violations.
He tells me that the zoning laws are selectively
enforced and that you only enforce them when you want
an excuse to seize someones property so you can use it
to generate more tax revenue. He also said that you
selectively enforce the zoning laws against people
that the city considers to be vermin such as Jews,
Negros, Mexicans, hippies, Muslims, anarchists, poor
white trash and homosexuals in an attempt to drive
these people out of Tempe.
Is that true that I am wasting my time reporting
zoning violations?
I don't know about you but I certainly don't consider
Jews, Negros, Mexicans, hippies, Muslims, anarchists,

algae, duckweed and other green slimy scum from their
pools, lakes and ponds.
Also in the lake or pond there is tons of trash,
papers bottles and other stuff floating and stuck in
the green slimy scum that covers a large part of the
lake. Both the trash and green slimy scum are zoning
violations and can you get your zoning inspectors to
cite the people who own and or operate the lake for
the trash zoning violations.
The green slimy scum is also a health hazard because
it allows mosquitoes to breed which can infect people
with the deadly Nile virus.

This is an update on some of your complaints:
The City Parks division will be taking care of the tree in the park at
Evergreen & Riviera today.
The City's contractor will be removing the weeds on the vacant lot
across from 1878 E Apache Blvd on 8/27. This is the site that the new
police department substation will be built on.
The railroad has been contacted about the weeds north of Daley Park at
25 E 13th St and they will have them removed.
The roof on the property at 25 E 13th St is not in violation of our
city
codes.
Your other complaints have been forwarded to the commercial code
section
in the Building Safety division and someone should be following up on
them. For future complaints please use our web sites to file
complaints

This is an update on some of your complaints:
The City Parks division will be taking care of the tree in the park at
Evergreen & Riviera today.
The City's contractor will be removing the weeds on the vacant lot
across from 1878 E Apache Blvd on 8/27. This is the site that the new
police department substation will be built on.
The railroad has been contacted about the weeds north of Daley Park at
25 E 13th St and they will have them removed.
The roof on the property at 25 E 13th St is not in violation of our
city
codes.
Your other complaints have been forwarded to the commercial code
section
in the Building Safety division and someone should be following up on
them. For future complaints please use our web sites to file
complaints
so they can be handled more efficiently. Thank you for your
